The ownership group behind the prestigious Ritz-Carlton hotel in downtown Montreal commissioned DECASULT in 2006 to support it in the planning and implementation of this complex project, which included the renovation and redevelopment of the century-old hotel, and the construction of a new wing of luxurious residences.
The project’s stated goal was to remake this establishment, which opened its doors in 1912 and was nicknamed “the Grande Dame of Sherbrooke Street”, once more into the city’s most prestigious hotel.
At the end of this daring transformation, the Ritz-Carlton Hotel now offers close to a hundred rooms which meet the highest standards of luxury and comfort, as well as around forty high-end condominium units. The hotel has also regained its historic five-star accreditation and reopened its doors on the centenary of its foundation, in June 2012.
