DECASULT was retained by McGill University as Lead Project Manager for the construction of the North Wing of the Montreal Neurological Institute (the “Neuro”), in order to oversee programming, design, construction and fit-out of this phased project.
Phase 1 consisted in the design and construction of the North Wing building, an extension of 6 floors and 7,000 m2, which includes offices, laboratories and an animal-housing facility. The project also included several related lots of retrofit work carried out in the Neuro’s heritage buildings in order to create physical links between the new wing and the Neuro’s existing pavilions.
Phase 2 that followed oversaw the fit-out of the previously-built premises in the North Wing.
