This project consisted of the accelerated construction, in fast-track mode, of a new shopping center concept of more than 60,000 m2 of gross space spread out over three levels, including parking, at the corner of Highway 40 and Viau Blvd, in the Montreal borough of St-Leonard.
This original layout allowed for parking capacity of close to 1,000 spaces, split between an underground car park and the roof of the building. The rooftop was designed as an open-air commercial plaza, with parking in the center and retail space on the periphery. The project is LEED Gold certified.
DECASULT accompanied the project’s promoter as Lead Project Manager during the contemporaneous design and construction phases, in order to maintain the delivery date promised to the building’s commercial occupants.
